Rick Noble was named Chief Executive Officer of both Haights Cross Communications ("HCC") and
Triumph Learning in April 2012. He has also served on the Board of Directors of Haights Cross
since November 2010.
Immediately prior to joining HCC, Rick was CEO/President of Edline, the leading supplier of technology solutions in K-12 schools,
providing web hosting, content management and tools for classroom management, grade reporting, notification and related technologies to 20,000 schools and millions of teachers, parents and students across the U.S. In early 2012, Edline was merged with Blackboard, the leader in enterprise technology and innovative solutions in higher education, serving millions of students and learners around the world.
Prior to Edline, Rick served as CEO of Medical Media Holdings, a medical publisher and market leading provider of continuing
medical education for oncologists, and, before that, he was President & CEO of Thomson Healthcare, publisher of market leading
clinical databases, medical journals and newsletters and the Physicians' Desk Reference.
A native of Toronto, Rick holds dual citizenship in the U.S. and Canada. Mr. Noble has a Bachelor's degree and an M.B.A. from the
University of Toronto, and has completed executive education at UCLA and Harvard. His other Board experiences include Planet Cancer,
Medical Media Holdings and Gold Standard Multimedia.
