Since 1997, HCC has been active in acquiring companies that focus on the K-12 supplemental, medical education, and library markets. Almost all of its businesses have operating histories of more than twenty years and have established recognized brands and long-standing customer relationships in the markets they serve.
The company’s first acquisition of medical educational publisher, Oakstone Publishing (Birmingham, AL) took place in 1997.
